Working directly with Head Operations for Power Transmission and distribution for Africa division. I am directly involved in almost around 30 onoing projects all over Africa as the main civil person.

Leading Procurement functions for Civil Operations and Tenders. Managing subcontracting, commercial

controls, risk, design coordination and project governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end control of all civil packages including planning, budgeting, cost optimization and

Subcontractor finalization.

• Led subcontractor evaluation, negotiation, price finalization, performance review and variation

approvals.

• Developed standardized contractual formats, commercial templates & project documentation for

multiple regions.

• Facilitated change requests & cost variation claims to clients supported by design and scope

justification.

• Prepared and reviewed baseline schedules, recovery plans, KPIs and progress dashboards for

management.

• Implemented risk registers, lessons learnt, mitigation plans, and QMS compliance across projects.

• Spearheaded civil costing for new tenders including TAQA, DEWA most recent being UAE

HighSpeed Rail.

• Interfaced with consultants and clients for design reviews, approvals, NCR closure, material

approvals.

Major Achievements:

✔ Optimized civil BoQ costs via design improvements and vendor strategies,encouraging new vendors,

maintaining budgets as per mananagement recommendations.

✔ Standardized Order Start / Order Execution / War Room / Checklists, improving process efficiency

✔ Built a Subcontractor Performance Indicator System for better delivery and cost control

Managed subcontracting for 370.49 MW Solar PV Plant, South Africa (EPC) much within the budget

due to established contacts. Work accomplished too.

✔ Created the Risk Register for Africa region used for forecasting and mitigation

✔ Successfully handled operations of 20+ projects up to 500kV across 10 African countries.
