...equally passionate about the latest tech trends and developments in the digital world, joining forces to spark rapid innovation. But they quickly learned that keeping up with the speed of innovation is an uphill battle, especially when you don't have easy access to the right talent to tackle this kind of meaningful, value-driving work.
Before becoming the CEO and CTO of Malt, respectively, Vincent Huguet, a successful e-commerce startup founder, and Hugo Lassiège, a freelance developer and founder of the Lateral Thoughts tech community, met in 2012 to discuss a problem faced by practically every company in existence today: The challenge of finding expert freelancers to propel their projects forward with speed, agility, and efficiency.
A year later, Malt was born, officially kicking off a movement to change how the world works. The goal was to transform the intellectual services industry, once dominated by agencies and consulting firms, in the face of an emerging and fast-growing freelance community across Europe. It was clear that these freelancers needed a better, easier, and more transparent way to build, promote, and grow their businesses.
And today, Malt is home to over 800,000 freelancers and more than 70,000 registered companies in Europe.
Our team is growing rapidly. We're looking for brilliant people to help us build the new work order.
