    PayDo is a Fintech Electronic Money Institution providing IBANs, banking accounts, merchant services, and mass payments.

    As part of the founding team at PayDo, I helped structure and scale the company from early-stage setup to a fully licensed fintech group with EMI licenses in the UK (FCA) and Malta (MFSA), as well as a Canadian MSB (FINTRAC).

    I led the development of foundational business processes and internal governance frameworks — including AML, incident management, payroll, financial audits, budgeting, and compliance reporting. I oversaw the implementation of key enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, BI, security), introduced asset and risk registers, and enabled regular audit cycles.

    I was responsible for recruiting the initial leadership team across IT, marketing, finance, and compliance, and defining core HR and corporate policies to support cross-border operations and team scaling. We launched a learning management system (LMS) for training and regulatory readiness, and rolled out BI dashboards to monitor KPIs and drive data-based decision-making.

    To support growth, I initiated digital advertising and inbound lead generation, helped secure early enterprise clients, and collaborated on strategic business plans for licensing, banking partnerships, and market entry.

    I also contributed to PayDo’s regulatory enablement by supporting SEPA and SWIFT memberships and facilitating partnerships with international PSPs, acquiring banks, and payment schemes.

    This work laid the operational, regulatory, and technical foundation for PayDo’s cross-border expansion and long-term scalability.
