With a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Renewable Energy went to work in the Oil and Gas industry as a Diagnostics Engineer with a valve leak detection and condition monitoring company in 2013. Mainly because a professor in Renewable Energy shattered everyone's hopes and dreams of the supposed sustainability of renewable energy methods, but that's a whole other story that I'm not getting into (there's enough flame wars going on online). I spent 6 years as a Diagnostics Engineer making leak detection equipment; designing condition monitoring equipment and systems amidst multitudes of odd-jobs.
In 2019, I moved to SMS as a Research and Development Engineer and have since been working on monitoring projects involving both ends of the size spectrum; tiny and huge! I've been developing test plans to investigate things; carrying out the tests to investigate things; writing programs to capture and process the data from the things.
