I have been passionate about interiors and furniture since a young age. I studied for a diploma in Spatial Design at Bournemouth Arts College and later studied for a BA (honors) in Interior Architecture at Hertfordshire University.
I have worked in various disciplines of design over the years, having had previous businesses working in web, graphics, home accessories, and more recently in interior architecture and furniture design. For much of the last twenty years, I've worked in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Whilst living in Thailand, I developed a great appreciation for working with sustainable materials such as bamboo and water hyacinth. I have an appreciation for using local products and this has helped me to design with sustainability in mind. My approach to design is inspired by the nature around me. I often sketch textures and patterns inspired by plants, animals, and materials.
