Tracey in a few words
Hello, my name is Tracey Wond, and I am a highly qualified business and management professional with a PhD in Evaluation Practice. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of organisations, including the Cabinet Office, various County and Borough Councils, and government departments. As a former University Head of Business and Management Research, I have gained extensive experience in managing teams of researchers, doctoral students, and research centres.

My focus on impact has been central to much of my work, and I am proud to have led the impact exercise for business research for over 5 years, as well as advising the Irish Higher Education Authority on university performance and impact. In 2020, I made the decision to go freelance and focus on communicating impact, which I saw as a crucial gap in the industry. Since then, I have worked with a variety of charity and third sector organisations on a range of digital projects. Projects include delivering a Research Impact Toolkit for the University of Bath, delivering a membership system for the Military CoWorking Network, and introducing new policies in a Council department.

Because freelance work can work in mysterious ways, I also fill quieter moments by supporting small businesses, charities and startups with communications, websites and marketing. I've always had an interest in digital 'geek'ery and it's great to fill time between bigger projects and meet new people

In my spare time I am a Trustee and active volunteer in my local community.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about driving positive change and helping organisations achieve their goals. I am excited to continue this work and look forward to exploring new opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the world of business and beyond.

We’ve undertaken two WIX based website projects with Tracey and been delighted with the results on both occasions.

At the start of the project, Tracey has thoroughly read our brief and asked questions to really understand our needs. Her commercial experience has been invaluable in suggesting the most effective way of achieving the goals and ways to improve the website experience for the customer and improve the SEO.

Throughout both projects I have found Tracey to be very responsive and easy to work with. On both occasions the results have exceeded my expectations. I’ve especially valued how she has explained more effective alternatives to achieve my goals, which I wasn’t even aware of.

I try to be self sufficient with my WIX website, so each project has included a training element and part of the brief has been to ensure that any development can be managed by myself. Tracey has fulfilled this with great patience and taken the time to ensure that I understand the process.

Finally, I’ve found it very reassuring how responsive Tracey is at resolving any issues both during and after the project. I initially chose to work with Tracey, as she was quite local to our business. Ironically, all of our meetings have taken place online and it’s been just as easy as face to face.

I look forward to working with Tracey again on future projects and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to others.
