My name is Samuel, and I am a web-focused writer that has succesfully turned my passion into a proficiency; and, ultimately, I consider myself to be a storyteller first and foremost.
Previously, I worked independently as a small business owner. This experience was a trial by fire and it forged me into an extremely hard and motivated worker. I learned how to communicate effectively across teams and with customers. This allowed me to humble myself to the importance of criticism and led to utilizing the strength of other's voices to temper the resolve of the business. This business also taught me the supreme talent of problem solving, especially under pressure. I am happy to say that the business operated successfully for years and thus allowed me to pursue my talent in writing.
This pursuit led me into the realm of copywriter, where I have prospered by wielding the tenacity forged in the bellows of my entrepreneurial enterprise. I have worked as a ghostwriting freelancer for a number of organizations, and have written blog posts, social media posts, email copy, articles, and a landing page for a mobile game.
Throughout my life, I have also been a creative writer. I've written songs, meditations, poems, and, of course, stories. And in all my works, professional or when tending to my small creative craft, I cannot help but employ narrative structures that are bent to the principality of creative story.
Storytelling comes easy to me. If I had any muse in this world that could kindle the fire of my spirit, it would be the muse of the art of story.
I will end by saying this: the most important aspect that a storyteller must possess is honesty. If a storyteller is chronicling anything other than the unique truth of their spirit and sacrificing the passion of their words then they are not a storyteller. Indeed, all they are is a mouthpiece for something lesser. I ask for the opportunity to give you the honesty of my stories.
