- LEARNING POOLDeveloperFebruary 2016 - December 2020 (4 years and 10 months)Berlin, GermanyWorking as a developer as part of Learning Pool's content team, my work can be quite varied. I've been involved with a wide range of interesting projects and work mainly in Articulate Storyline, Adapt Builder and sometimes Adobe Captivate. I'm often using the Adobe CC Suite day to day too. My work can include things like converstions of older courses from legacy technologies like Flash or basic HTML and CSS into multi-device friendly responsive courses which run on a modern LMS. I also work on off-the-shelf elearning, customising these to suite the client, or fully bespoke solutions. My next challenge is to learn to code JavaScript to enable me to enhance the already broad functionality of authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adapt.
- City & Guilds KineoDeveloperNovember 2014 - February 2016 (1 year and 3 months)101 S Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266, USAMy day to day work at Kineo consists of setting up e-learning courses using the authoring tool Articulate Storyline 2. I work closely to match art direction making sure the design and functionality of the final course fit as closely as possible to the artwork and to the technical specification. From time to time I also help out with fixes on older courses built in a variety of tools including: Adapt (responsive HTML5 framework), Captivate 5/7/8/9, in-house Flash/ HTML tools, Studio 09 and coursebuilder. I also sometimes need to use Photoshop to make small tweaks to assets used in building courses.
