- Lobster CreativeVideo EditorFILM & AVMarch 2023 - December 2023 (9 months)London, England, United KingdomI have recently completed a contract with Lobster Creative where the main bulk of my work was for an eight-part NBC broadcast documentary series. Each episode consisted of a four minute edit and three shorter cutdowns. I also edited commercials and social edits for clients such as Sunblest and Maltesers.
- ShootstaSenior EditorFILM & AVAugust 2018 - March 2023 (4 years and 8 months)London, England, United KingdomI was originally hired in 2018, as the UK’s sole Editor, however as the team grew I moved on to becoming the Edit Team Lead for several editors. Shootsta empowers its clients to shoot their own content and create detailed briefs, which in turn allows the edit team to deliver finished edits back in under 24 hours. When I first joined the company, I edited an average of six projects daily. As an Edit Team Lead, I looked after 30 clients, each with multiple project owners and was accountable for every project created by my team. I was the client’s main point of contact at Shootsta, for questions regarding upcoming and current projects. Being a Team Lead also required me to look after my team’s well-being, which was fundamental in a fast-paced editing environment.
- Myriad Global MediaEditorFILM & AVNovember 2012 - August 2018 (5 years and 9 months)London, England, United KingdomDuring my time at Myriad Global Media, I edited a wide range of videos for clients such as Amazon, Taylor Wimpey and ExxonMobil. These edits included UHD footage and 360 content, as well as image sequence time-lapses and 3D animation renders. One of the larger director-led projects I worked on was a 20-minute internal film for Tullow Oil. This consisted of over 20 film shoots, shot over the course of three years. Myriad quite often had over a dozen active projects in various stages of production. This, combined with catering to different time zones meant that time management played a key part during my working day.
