I am an editorial and communications specialist with 2+ years of copywriting (primarily using wordpress), editing, proofreading, translation and communications management experience in the arts and cultural sector. This included brand, events and communications management for several different art establishments in London and Paris as well as heading an independent art and culture magazine. I also have a strong academic background with an English Literature and Language Degree from the University of Oxford and and an MA in History and Philosophy of Art. Lastly, I have an unsurpassable passion for the written word and take a flexible approach to freelancing: no project is too broad or too niche!

Madeleine is a driven, talented, and wildly smart writer and editor. We met in our graduate program at the University of Kent's Paris campus and I had the pleasure of working alongside her to produce the annual student periodical, Le Menteur. I'm also privileged to call Madeleine a good friend. I can't recommend her as a professional and as a person highly enough.

I had the immense pleasure to collaborate with Madeleine Piggott on multiple projects. Not only are her language skills impeccable, her writing creative and professional, but she also understands how to adapt to a specific tone of voice with ease. She is very proactive and always submits her work on time. I appreciated her transparency in her process, timing, and organization. I would love to work with her again in the future if the opportunity would present itself.
