By way of introduction, I am Madanjit Singh and I hold a master, MSc in Finance from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland and ACCA. I come from a solid account and finance background with a strong interest in financial performance, financial planning, mapping customers’ deals and commercial partnerships, monitoring, and soliciting insight from business and commercial stakeholders.
I got many opportunities to work largely with sophisticated tech giants, private equity, and corporates including but not limited to AWS, Web Summit Services Ltd (WSS) and Salesforce. In my current role, I have reviewed the changing landscape of internal audit work in terms of report accuracy, monthly close, and future forecasting and generated relevant and actionable insights into financial planning. I learned about developing new relationships with customers and partners to bolster consumption and usage while managing business risk. Designed and negotiates solutions to complete financial issues with customers while closely working with the CFOs and AWS Salesforce’s and WSS business leads and developed “out of the box” thinking.
I also worked as a Senior Executive Finance with Novosol Pte Ltd, primarily managing financial planning and risk, credible insights into industry benchmarks and trends, performance improvements, and growth and further but not limited to provided new approaches to how financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisions but also got introduced to various aspects of leadership and team building qualities. My skill for understanding organisation requirements, and creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions and clearly communicate findings.
To date, my experience as a finance and commercial professional has been extremely rewarding and productive and I have been recognised for my knowledge of procedures and processes and development of financial frameworks.
