Prior to leading the global IT organisation, Kris was the Global Digital Factory leader for Merck Animal Health manufacturing and supply chain business. During his time at GSK, Kris was leading human health IT/OT teams and was responsible for digital implementations as well as site operations.
In this role, Kris was responsible for developing the E2E digital strategy, roadmap and business case to enable business outcomes such as cost of goods sold reduction, reduced batch failure rates, reduced discards and review by exception batch release.
After gaining successful buy-in from senior executives and securing business case funding approvals, Kris was responsible for leading the global digital factory team, tasked with deploying selected use cases such as: MES, LIMS, OT Data Enablement, Data Historian, AI and Analytics, Shop Floor Scheduling, Lab Scheduling, Smart Applications, Robotic Process Automation, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Global Architecture and Digital Transformation office (Comms, Change, Value acceleration & Realisation).
Kris is now looking to use his industry experience to form successful long-standing partnerships with clients where MDTS can help customers with their digital transformations.
