Kevin in a few words
At very low cost, since I am a solo/freelance law firm, I can help you assess whether an invention is likely to be patentable, then help draft a patent application (asking you to help where appropriate to bring costs down), file the patent application at the United Kingdom IP Office, United States Patent & Trademark Office and/or the European Patent Office, and prosecute it through to grant in all of these offices, all directly from my small firm, thus reducing fees significantly. There is no need for another attorney in the US to get familiar with the case after we file it in the UK. Lots of money can be saved.

I can also help with legal agreements and transactional work, such as, licensing, IP commercialisation advice, joint development/collaborations, NDAs, IT services, software licenses, open source software advice, patent sales, IP acquisition or divestiture, and associated due diligence.

If you are concerned about someone else's patent, whether it be in the US, UK or elsewhere in Europe, I can help with patent infringement/validity opinions, including working closely with you to review your product vis a vis the relevant patent claims.

If you'd like to do a patent search before launching your product, I can help with a Freedom to Operate study, including reviewing the relevant patents.

If you are having a dispute with someone regarding IP in any aspect, I can get to the bottom of it, and help you resolve it.

If you are looking for investment, I can prepare an IP audit for your company, which you can use to show to potential investors, to give them comfort.

I can help you get trademark protection for your brands.

I can provide IP education to your tech team.

I can help you develop internal policies for IP protection and risk reduction.

If you do not have an in-house IP legal team, I can act as a quasi-in-house IP counsel, you can send me questions that come up day to day and I will quickly answer by email or phone. Kind of like a chatbot for IP!
