I'm a PR and communications strategist with experience working across agency and in-house roles in New York and London, and remotely in Paris, Brussels and Barbados. My career spans nearly 20 years primarily focused on spirits, hospitality, travel and tech where I have worked on all sides of the communications spectrum from copywriting and strategy to press office and partnerships.
My passion is rooted within drinks brands and hospitality, where I have worked on incredible projects, from launching Hendrick's Gin to press to heading up the communications team for Mount Gay rum's relaunch to the global spirits community. In 2015, I ghostwrote Experimental Cocktail Club: The Way We Drink, which was nominated for Best New Cocktail / Bartending Book at Tales of the Cocktail in 2016.
A publicist at heart, I have secured a growing portfolio of press coverage from the New York Times, Financial Times, CNN and GQ to CLASS, Drinks International, Global Drinks Intel and Spirits Business. I have specialised in new brand launches and rebrands with Hendrick’s Gin, Mount Gay and Drambuie as well as category extensions with Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Grant’s.
In 2019, I stepped into the freelance world. Today, I work with Experimental Group’s 20+ hotels, restaurants and bars as a marketing and comms consultant, and I write and advise on client-facing materials, marketing copy, tone of voice.
I also act on behalf of FINN for Lighthouse (formerly OTA Insight) to secure press coverage across B2B, M&A and consumer titles for acquisitions and data reports. To date, I have secured coverage in Financial Times, CNN, Business Insider, The Guardian, Observer, iNews and Euronews as well as trade titles including Travolution, Hotel Magazine, Lodging Magazine and many others.
