Josephine Lohoar Self is a writer/director and storyboard artist, working across live action and animation. Her short stop motion animated film 'The Fabric of You', was longlisted for Best Animated Short at the OSCARS (2021) as well as being nominated for a Scottish BAFTA. It received a Special Mention during its premiere at The Edinburgh International Film Festival (2019) and went on to play at Oscar Qualifying festivals such as LA International Short Film Festival & Bucheon International Animation Festival.

Her latest short film, ‘Gunter Falls in Love’, which was commissioned by the Irish National broadcaster RTÉ, was nominated for an Irish Film and Television Academy Award for Best Animated Short (2021).
