I am a third-year student of Policing and Criminal Investigation at UCLan, due to graduate in Spring 2023. In my course, I have been taught by some of the best investigators and most experienced policing lecturers in the country. The course has given me key investigative and researching skills, as well as experience in writing concise reports on complex and multifaceted issues.

In March 2021 I was elected Men’s Representative on the student council, where I represent over 13000 male students across UCLan’s Preston, West Lakes, Burnley and Cyprus campuses. I am currently developing a university-funded mental health campaign focusing on the prevention of male suicide, liaising with campaign advisors, students and the Students’ Union communications team. I am also vice chair of the LGBT+ society and secretary of the fencing society.

My first full time employment was as a commis sommelier at a fine dining restaurant (20 Stories, Manchester) in the summer of 2021, advising and educating customers on wine, and selling very high-quality wines to discerning customers. Subsequently, I worked at Selfridges wine shop (Manchester Exchange Square), and I am currently a student ambassador.
