As part of my Senior Media Technician role, I have to keep up to date with everything involved with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. This knowledge allows me teach students the various skills involved with video editing, photo manipulation, poster creation alongside many others. I am extremely proficient with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition & Lightroom and proficient in After Effects & InDesign. I am always willing to learn and constantly look for new tools, tutorials and the like to increase my own skill level. Alongside the software, I am very proficient with all aspects of film making, including using cameras, lighting, stabilisation and sound equipment. I've used a broad range of cameras from Canon and Sony whilst owning my own Nikon equipment. With the knowledge gained over the last nine years in the Media & Film department, I have been responsible for creating many videos for not only our department through our own YouTube channel, but all of the remote open evening videos focussing on the departments across the college. This involved me liaising with all the departments to work out filming schedules and timings for when everything could be filmed during Covid times. Alongside the software and hardware skills mentioned above, I am extremely proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as the Google Suite of online apps (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Sites, Slides). This has given me strong IT skills across the board with both software and hardware and troubleshooting problems. I have now taken over the management of our in house production team, F6 Productions. This enables current students to gain crucial work experience with real world clients such as Ergo Group LTD, BRIT Racing, Church Crookham Parish Council and many others.

As a subject tutor I am responsible for the following; Creating Schemes of Work, Planning and organising lesson content across the academic year, Teaching lesson content, Marking student work, Attending CPD events at the college, Monitor behaviour and progress, Track data using markbooks and much more.
