I had the pleasure of working with Gerald from July 2022 to July 2023 in the SAP Enable Now team. Gerald made significant contributions to our project by adapting the architecture of our software to run and scale in a Kubernetes environment.

Gerald's technical expertise was evident in his work. He successfully scaled our application in a Kubernetes environment and significantly optimized the upgrade time of the application. He also implemented several service integrations, including the audit logging service. Additionally, Gerald refactored and modularized file access functionality of our product, developed a standalone microservice for file management and integrated our solution seamlessly with the S3 object store.

Gerald's deep knowledge of containerization and microservice-based architecture proved invaluable in delivering efficient and scalable solutions. His expertise, combined with his collaborative mindset, greatly contributed to the team's success, and I would gladly recommend him for future software development roles.
