I have been a communications professional for more than 15 years, specialising in public relations, retail, corporate and consumer communications. In recent years I have worked as a consultant for Northern, the largest rail operator outside of London, and have worked with the communications team there for over 10 years. I have also recently worked with Grand Central, an open access rail operator as a PR project manager. Prior to my work within the rail industry, I worked for some of the UK’s largest PR agencies, both as a full-time employee and as a freelance consultant. My work experience has been heavily focused on gaining positive news coverage for a number of household name clients, as well as event organisation for these brands.
