Highly experienced and versatile Data Scientist with over 10 years experience managing projects and teams, architecting solutions, and publishing original, cutting-edge research. Throughout my career I worked at the intersection of computer science, statistics, and public policy. As a data scientist I uncover signals hidden in complex datasets using machine learning, mathematical modeling, and rich visualization. However as a solution architect, I seek to give data 'a voice' - letting it speak for itself - to ultimately create practical tools and applications that meaningfully empower individuals and organizations.

Most recently I was Founder & CEO of Arboreum, a fintech+AI startup bringing trade-finance to the last mile. Previously I was Lead Data Scientist at the UN World Food Programme and a Machine Learning engineer with Accenture Technology Labs. I also spent 3 years in academia first as an econometrics PhD student and then at a think tank studying global vaccine supply chains. I still actively engage in academic projects with collaborators at Oxford and Princeton. I have full-stack Python and R experience, having both turned laboratory concepts into code and pushed out production systems, and specialize in casual-ML, spatio-temporal modeling, and Bayesian methods.
