I am a highly accomplished translator with wide professional experience. For the past 20 years, I have been working as a Translator at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tokyo. Over the course of my career, I have accumulated a treasure trove of knowledge and skills. My background includes providing translations of medical, military, and various governmental and international documents. I’ve also mastered the art of subtitling and voice replacement.
My educational background is quite rich and diverse. I possess a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Salford and received a Professional Certificate in Translation at the New York University School of Professional Studies, where I completed six Career Advancement Courses. In addition, I am Microsoft Certified System Engineer and passed Business Computing at Temple University in Japan.
Among my achievements is a membership in the World Association of Arab Translators & Linguists and I am also proud of being a member of the American Translators Association.
I am adept at working with different translation software such as Translation Memories, SDL Trados Studio 2017, Memoq 2015, and proficient in Microsoft Office programs. My touch typing speed is over 75 words per minute.
I am currently exploring new career options and believe I am highly qualified for this position. My wide and diverse experience, willingness to learn and strong work ethic make me believe I can achieve outstanding results and become a part of your company.
