Throughout my diverse 10+ year career, I've worn many hats, but my core passion for powerful writing and storytelling is a constant.

In my long-standing role with a major magazine publisher for a niche manufacturing industry, Inovar Communications Ltd, my eye for detail, commitment to quality, and knack for quickly getting to grips with complex topics, enabled me to contribute to the production of six years of content that made us the most respected publishers in our niche.

As features writer, I was responsible for reporting on-site from major global industry events, creating in-depth company profiles on some of the biggest industrial brands and organisations, conducting top-level executive interviews for print and producing insightful industry coverage on a semi-quarterly basis.
In my role as features editor for a group title, I commissioned quality, insightful content that focused the title's editorial aims to improve overall output. Among my proudest professional achievements is the knowledge that I grew my title's magazine readership by approx. 115% per issue.

My role involved a bit of everything – aside from these top-of-masthead editorial responsibilities, I was regularly tasked with drafting email campaign copy; contributing to and managing weekly news coverage; creating marketing copy for PPC campaigns; executing legal and regulatory copy for terms and privacy policy; and generating persuasive copy to support the ad sales team.

I led social media strategy for Inovar through my first four years as editor, taking each title's social media presence from non-existent to some of the most visible brands in their niche.

In my freelance career, I've performed sensitivity reading for a Top 10 Bestselling Novel, produced cover copy for self-published authors, and drafted web and blog copy for hundreds of businesses in the UK and USA.
