I am a trained Software Engineer, who grew into a fantastic Recruiter. After working
as a Software Engineer since 2005 both as a permanent employee and as a freelancer,
I was always interested in building teams and hired my first team of 4, which I single
handedly recruited in 2011. This team and I built an e-commerce platform for the
company DieCrema. See career steps below. That was my first professional encounter
with Recruitment and it became a passion onwards.
In 2014, working for a Rocket Internet company, called Home24 AG, I helped the
company both in software engineering and in hiring. I therefore discovered what
added value I could bring into the Recruiting Industry as a Software Engineer and
since then there has been no turning back.
The passion in finding exceptional talent became a profession and I’m proud to say
I’m one of those unicorn Software Engineers who are also Recruiters. Because I can
smell a great software engineer from a distance my added value to a kick-ass
recruiting team is immeasurable. My work is characterized with high hire rates of 1-6+ a month.
