As a People & Culture Business Partner in my role, I believe it is important to operate close to the business in order to understand the needs of both people and the organization. The key to connecting the dots within the business is to connect and listen to people. Really understand what people want to say or have an ear to the story they want to tell.
In the end, not only listen but really do something with what you've heard. Own the change and translate outcomes into concrete changes. Taking bold decisions by making small changes with purpose and impact that both people and organization will benefit from it.
