I worked in a nonprofit company as Junior IT technician in Brazil. Whilst I worked there I got degree in IT management, few courses about IT and relevant experience, however I was sure this is the profession I want for whole my career. Therefore me and my wife decided come to London to live and work, she came before to make all documentation and then in January 2022 my document got ready and I could come to London. Since arriving in the UK, I have been actively searching for an IT position that aligns with my qualifications and allows me to apply my expertise professionally. Whilst I didn’t get a job in IT field, I’ve taken a temporary role in a warehouse to ensure I have an income to support my family, whilst I improve my English as well. Nowadays my life is study English, but I want to do some specializations like CompTIA, CCNA or LPIC-1 which I took a preparatory course but I didn’t take the test. I’m not sure which field I’m gonna get in IT yet, because how I worked for the same company whole my career I didn’t have contact with other technologies/companies, but I am eager to transition into a role that utilises my IT skills and offers career growth and advancement opportunities.
