I am an initiative-taking, experienced procurement / strategic sourcing/supply chain professional. I have gained experience to a senior management level in a variety of diverse manufacturing industries. Adherence to policy and regulatory processes has been a primary driver in the sectors in which I have worked to enhance safety/reliability of end users, regulatory compliance, and organisations de-risk.
I have achieved some significant cost savings, gross margin enhancement, process improvements and quality system improvements across multi sites and multinational companies.
In my last three positions I developed and implemented full and distinct supply chain departments (procurement, Inventory management, warehousing, international logistics, Procurement QMS, ERP introduction and improvement) and colleague mentoring and training of teams towards a strategic sourcing mode as opposed to departmental “order launch and expedite “practices.
