David Deeley

With over 16 years in the Modelmaking Industry I've worked on projects for advertising campaigns through to archtiectural models for marketing or directly for architects to help win design contracts. I've used and have experience with a multitude of materials and the processes used to end up with a finished product including CNC routing, laser cutting and conventional workshop machinery. I'm used to taking projects from the intial stages of briefing and planning through to CAD and then on to production. Organisation and methodical working is key to this process as I find that often a project will involve ordering materials, bespoke components and outsourcing processes and components.

Although my work is centered around modelmaking this has often been a spring board onto other projects where I have produced funiture, picture frames and signage using material from solid wood to sheet materials such as acrylic and plywood.
