Oxford University graduate with over 25 years' experience in marketing, business development and events.
My unique "experience blend" includes learning best practice working for multinationals (e.g. in Nestlé, the world's largest food & beverage company), how to bootstrap and DIY in startups and everything in between.
I have a passion for driving growth and use my expertise and skill set to make a tangible difference to the businesses I work with.
My varied cross-sector experience, acquired in the UK and internationally, means that I can act as a marketing "one-stop shop". I pride myself on being able to look at every business holistically - balancing analysis, strategy and action - to find the best ways forward for that business. I can just "do", but I like to challenge, dig deeper and make sure that the small business owners I work with have effective strategies in place. This helps ensure that our actions and desired results are as powerful as possible for their particular business. I am known for over-delivering and acting more as a partner, adding unexpected value across the business.
I am currently mentoring for the UK Government's "Help to Grow" scheme and a member of the Association of Business Mentors.
