I am very experienced with data science and analysis techniques using Python (pandas) and R, as well as a variety of machine learning techniques and implementations. I have done dozens of full-stack engineering projects, and love science communication.

I recently completed my PhD in Social AI at University of Glasgow, where I specialized in analyzing and implementing social non-verbal behaviors in virtual agents. As a result, I am familiar with theano, TensorFlow, AWS and google APIs, as well as R/Shiny and many more python development tools. My MSc is in Research Methods in Psychological Sciences, in which I brushed up on data science and stats and learned many survey design and deployment tools.

Prior to my PhD I worked as a software engineer and manager at two different startups in Boston, MA.

I have competed and placed highly in several scientific public speaking competitions, including FameLab and 3 Minute Thesis. I've also given several highly attended (50+) "pub-science" talks with Glasgow Science Festival and other organizations around the city. I LOVE science communication.

My career passion is tech, data, and AI safety and ethics.
