Well hello there! Welcome to my profile. My name is Carly, and I'm a thirty-something neurodivergent lady who decided life is far too short, so I'm gonna do what I love. And what I love is art. Portraits with semi-realism, abstract alcohol inks that look like crystals, fantasy landscapes and environments, cute inanimate objects that come to life when faces are added, pattern design. I'm a bit of a mixed bag, jack of all trades, that sort of thing. I like taking those illustrations and turning them into greeting cards, wall art, and promotional material. I like taking an idea and letting my imagination run wild (within specifications when required), and then figuring out how to expand upon that piece of work. I like playing with texture, with different lighting, with elements big and small. And I really love when an illustration comes together, and it has brought a dream into visual reality.

I'm an avid book worm, fantasy lover, gamer, writer, and herbalist. I've enjoyed being creative my entire life, even journeying into the world of wire wrapped jewllery during the covid lockdowns. Professionally, my work has always been in health care, until I got sick and took the opportunity to doodle on an ipad. Changed my whole life.
