1. Strategy – I understand how to define and implement strategy in both high-growth start-ups and large corporates. As Founder & CEO of The Hook, a well-funded early-stage consumer start-up, I developed the customer and digital strategy to create a single view of the customer across physical and digital channels. At Deloitte, I used data and insights to advise C-Suite and Board-level clients on strategic decisions.
2. Ops – I operate with a bias for action. At The Hook, I launched an e-commerce channel, opened three retail stores (Covent Garden, Notting Hill, Spitalfields), and sold artwork to 200+ customers on four continents in less than a year. This means I understand what it takes to implement strategy, not just to create it.
3. Finance – As Chief of Staff at Deloitte, I managed a $200M P&L and improved practice utilisation by 8% in 6 months. As a founder, I developed business-wide OKRs, reported directly to the Board, and achieved 25% month-on-month sales growth from launch to wind-down.
