Expertise (21)
Benedict in a few words
I am a Python- and SQL- enabled data professional with a strategic mindset. I have over 10 years of front-to-back banking/finance domain expertise (where I became expert in Python, SQL, Databases).

My passion is for developing robust, extensible solutions to business problems whilst applying software development best practices. It's a fast-moving environment but I am a keen and quick learner. My manner is personable and I gladly make partnerships to foster collaboration as part of the process.

In recent assignments, I have:
- built a end-user-customisable sales alerting and dashboard application;
- applied python automation to improve database benchmarking & testing;
- hosted workshops to shake-out better KPIs for dashboards; and
- developed a custom NLP-model conceived to help scrum-leaders monitor sprint progress.

My most exciting personal side project is the design of a framework to measure and motivate inter- & intra-neighbourhood collaboration. This as a non-profit concept that I am really excited about, and it has also driven a lot of learning in its own right.

Away from programming: I am a dedicated runner, and generally enjoy time outside with my family and our golden retriever.
