I am a creative Content Specialist with more than 10 years experience in both The Netherlands and overseas. Combining life experience with empathy, creativity, flexibility, and a sense of humour. Passion for people, cultures, sports, and the planet. Both strategic and hands-on. Fluent in English and Dutch (native).

Worked in many different content roles (Web Editor, Content Manager, Web Manager, Content Strategist) and wrote articles, whitepapers, an e-book, interviews, and managed websites in both Dutch and English. Worked for large companies like ABN AMRO, IBM, and Wegener, but also for smaller agencies and SMB's.

Living and working in different countries and cultures (The Netherlands, India, Singapore, and New Zealand) made me realise and experience first hand how important knowledge of cross-cultural communication is. We are all human, but we don't all communicate the same way. Being aware of these differences is essential when it comes to creating content in a world that becomes smaller every day and where we need to be able to live, work and communicate with people from all sorts of cultural backgrounds.
