Hello, I’m Ash.

For over 10 years I have helped organisations of all sizes with design and engineering services, spanning across the web and mobile platforms. These organisations range from social media giants (Facebook), national broadcasters (BBC, ITV), global retailers (Amazon), banking (HSBC, RBS, Barclaycard), as well as various digital agencies, start-ups and educational institutions.

I’m also the sole founder and engineer behind Breef.io - a productivity platform for freelancers and clients which aims to streamline requirements-gathering and help match individuals and businesses with freelancers.

As a result, I may be able to help your organisation with both my products and my individual skill set. With a strong background in design and engineering, this hybrid of skills has often allowed me to bridge the gap between design and development teams, and truly deliver projects end-to-end for my clients.

Past projects have included an array of challenges, from building new “challenger” banking apps; internal productivity tools for journalists; building scalable services and efficient components for the largest online retailer in the world; building a TV-scheduling app for one of the UK’s largest TV broadcasters and creating a social network for some of the world’s top universities.

Outside of work, my interests range from gardening, non-fiction reads, period properties, politics, economics to football, blockchain, hip hop/jazz/soul/electronic music, cars, productivity, health and everything in-between!
