I established The Philanthropy Consultant a specialist fundraising and engagement company in 2022 when I realised that returning to full time work after a little one is hard. I thought I could do it all be a mummy alongside change career path and have a positive work life balance. I decided that something had to give, I took a part time role and have never been happier, I want to help more organisation fulfil their fundraising goals by freelancing this enables me to support those organisations as and when needed. I have an eclectic mix of fundraising experience and have become a specialist in prospect research and income generation. I am an experienced researcher with several years of fundraising experience including major gifts, research, trust and foundation applications and more. When I began my career several years ago, I fell into prosect research and have been lucky enough to work at leading organisations in the HE and charity sector. Philanthropy has always interested me; and my engagement with it was sparked while attending university in the USA on a sports scholarship funded by generous donors.
